My Little Petshop

A while ago I was asked to re-design some characters from My Little Petshop.
They wanted the characters less cute and slightly more older... at the end they stack more to what it originally was and therefore these designs where rejected.

But... I enjoyed doing them so therefore...

Enjoy :)

Great expressiveness at the same time as simplicity. The designs of the adorable puppies have a great personality. All the best.

Hey JP
I animated those little fellas, well not your designs but the ones they went for.

Had a great time and it looked quite good in the end.
Those little pet shop toys are all over the shops and have a very strong branding.

great blog

see you soon

This is some nice work, JP.
I think they should've gone with these. They're crying out to be animated.

i really like these, really strong shapes. And it's always nice to see a pug in a roll neck. I once saw an actual pug in a roll neck... i laughed.

I love how you can use absolute simplicity to conjure up such amazing characters (Side note: that's what some of my drawing tends to lack!).

Also, I take it this pug is French.
