In this clip you can see where they have used my boards and where they edited scenes in and out. Its great to see your ideas transformed into an end product and eventually on the big screen. Enjoy :)

Gnomeo and Juliet storyboard
When Kelly Asbury (director on Gnomeo and Juliet) asked me to board "Gnomeo prepares for blue raid" sequence, it was completely different scripted. At that time Kelly wasn't sure himself about this sequence and asked me to come up with something new if possible. I remembered a trailer of one of the Rambo movies where we just see a montage of Close ups of Rambo preparing to go to war. I thought it would be an homage to that particular genre of film and at the same time a fun experience to translate it into the Gnomeo and Juliet movie. As a result, Kelly was pleased with the result and so it ended up being used in the film.

Facial expressions Grand Santa (Arthur Christmas)

I worked for a short period on Arthur Christmas as a storyboard artist at Aardman, this is a expression sheet I did on Grand Santa. When I started there the characters where under development and the director hadn't made any final decisions on the look.
Grand Santa was my favorite character as he is this seniel, crazy old man who likes nothing more then then arguing with Athurs older brother. This is my rough version.

Annecy 2007
After a week of working, drinking and eating the Annecy film festival has finished, I had a great time, met a lot of people and got lots of interest in my project "Max in a Million".
First of all I want to say a big thank you to Uli Meyer who offered me a space on his Monster Mania stand

For people who have never been to Annecy it's a very beautiful place.

For people who have never been to Annecy it's a very beautiful place.
Annecy is also known for it's great food especially their "moules frites" and "escargots" demonstrated by Boris Hiestand and Uli Meyer

I've had the pleasure to meet Harald Siepermann who's work and blog I've been admiring for quite some years... it was great fun hanging out and exchanging some animation thoughts...

Me and the missus ready of another night on town
We all had a great time going out on the bend, but please hats of for our Champions couple extraordinaire Mr. Boris Hiestand and Mr. Elliot Cowan
I had the pleasure to meet Bibo Bergeron the creator/director of his new feature "Monster in Paris". He bestowed me with the honor of drawing my caricature...
Merci monsieur Bibo!
